Hi Michael, a very tentative question here: might this be some other Acacia (possibly A. pravissima?). I think A. gunnii has a single flower on an unbranched stalk. The leaves also look a bit different from what I know.

This is very definitely Acacia cultriformis - ovoid flowerheads, gland at apex of phyllode, stout pedicels, single vein, glaucous
