Thanks Matt, I totally agree, those are the Chiloglottis X pescottiana natural hybrid.

This looks like C X pescottiana to me, a natural hybrid between C valida and C trapeziformis where the two grow close together.

This species does grow naturally on Black Mountain, so this is useful information about flowering time, even though conditions would be somewhat better in the Gardens than in the wild!
