Overview

This moth sub-category for the superfamily Gelechioidea contains the families Xyloryctidae, Hypertrophidae, Lecithoceridae, Cosmopterigidae, Depressariidae and Gelechiidae (and will be used in future for some other Gelechioidea families not yet recorded on CNM at January 2020).  The Oecophoridae also belong to this superfamily, but as the family that is by far the most observed, it is given its own sub-category.
