This species has the potential to be a major aquatic weed. Prohibited from sale since 2014 it unfortunately is still traded by ebay and gum tree both terrible sights for spreading high risk plants - better to buy plants at the Nursery.

Confirmed as a Limnobium species (frogbit) by the National Herbarium

Also note the parrot's feather in the photo. The frogbit was discovered by a bush regeneration contractor - CoreEnviro Solutions. And will be destroyed by the homeowner and a Parks field officer.
