Author's notes

Female sitting in hollow apparently dozing (eyes shut), then awake. Also seen in hollow yesterday morning with male in tree (see earlier sighting and yesterday evening around 7.40 both birds in tree. Please see Norm P for earlier and ongoing observations (many thanks Norm).
