User's notes

This superb parrot arrived and it appeared very quiet but it obviously is a very hungry aviary escape. I hope it survives as we have Collared Sparrowhawks and Brown Goshawks

Hi Everyone. We are not convinced this is a Superb. By its behaviour it is captive bred, is it possibly a Superb/Regent hybrid or just a Regent. It sounds like a superb and originally it was with another bird with a yellow shoulder but that bird has moved on or dead. Any ideas?

It looks like a normal Superb Parrot to me. Clearly it is an aviary escape as it is very tame.

Thanks Natureguy. It sounds and flys like a superb but its mate was a bit different but we couldn't get a photo
