Merophyas therina (a Tortrix Moth)

The adult moths have variable off-white to brown forewings, with some very dark dots,  and a yellow or brown markings including a spotted diagonal band across each wing. The hindwings are pale brown and have a recurved tip. The wingspan is about 1.5 cms. New South Wales,  Australian Capital Territory,  Victoria, and  Tasmania.
