Family Ichneumonidae, subfamily Ophioninae. Superficially similar to Netelia, but the sclerotized (hardened) flecks in the forewing separate it.
Enicospilus are nocturnal orange/red parasitic wasps. They tend to have long antennae and very short ovipositors. Their wings contain a clear fenestra in the horsehead cell and this normally contains sclerites, which are curved, triangular or round in shape. They have an extra spurious vein at the bottom of their forewing and there is no areolet cell like in Netelia.
