Clavulinopsis sulcata (A club fungi)

The fruitbody is often a simple club-like stalk, but may be flattened in cross-section or distorted and may show some forking. It can grow up to 10 centimetres tall and is reddish orange to bright red. 

 

 The fruitbodies grow on soil and may appear in large groups.
