I totally defer to your judgement on this of course, but the leaves of these plants were not the fleshy leaves I am used to with Bulbines but hard, flaxy leaves like one sees on orchids. I had thought they were bulbines when I first saw them, til I noticed the leaves....
It seems like there are some Lomandra leaves mixed in with your photos but I can also see Bulbine leaves as well, that might explain your observation of hard flaxy leaves. Flowers aren't consistent with Orchidaceae as there isn't structural differentiation in the sepals and petals
Cool thank you!! I noticed a huge profusion of Bulbines under the Cork Oaks in the Arboretum recently. I am happy to log them if they're useful but figured someone else must have done so given how abundant they werel.
