I think 6 different species of frogs calling, doing 6 sightings, one for each species.
I could distinguish these calls and counts.
Uperolea leavigata - can hear it clearly at 46 seconds and throughout. Numbers would be 4-15 or more.
Limnodynastes tasmaniensis - 4-15 - can hear one around the 23 and 26 seconds in and later.
Crinia signifera - 4-15, very hard to pick up as others were so noisy but can be heard in early part for sure I think.
Crinia parasignifera - > 16, and easy to hear right from the start.
Litoria peronii clearly at 33 seconds and many more times. I think in the range 4-15 for numbers Litoria verreuxii clearly at 52 seconds or again at 1.05. I think 1-3 for count.
Location is the large dam on western side of Gungaderra grasslands. Photos taken in the day on 14th Oct. Sound recordings on 17th October in the evening. Weather at night was a clear sky but with light breeze. Air temp was 12 degrees and water was 19 degrees. Water flow was still. Dam is surrounded by thick grass, not mowed and with reeds around parts of it. The north east corner where the water drains in from was quite wet with water over the edge of the dam.
