User's notes
Many small birds were chattering noisily in the canopy when I was checking Gang gang nest hollows. Two of them landed near this hollow and almost appeared to be teasing the male GG which was sitting in the hollow entrance. At one stage he silently bobbed his head repeatedly in their direction, and later he appeared to be hiding as they approached. After the smaller birds moved away slightly, the female GG appeared from behind the branch.
