There are striated thornbills at this site, so it is a possibility.
Apologies for the poor quality photos.
I didn't notice striations and the birds were a bit olive in colour. Also their song seemed a bit different to the usual striated thornbill call I hear, more chattery, but I wouldn't discount the possibility.
