Early evening - and Stevie is sitting, looking out of the hollow! They were mating 10 days ago, and actively clearing out wood after the rain 4 days ago - to me, this indicates this pair may have just begun to incubate! I could see no sign of her mate, and there was no quiet talking. However, there were around 5 - 6 males flying around close by, preparing to roost
