This pair spent a minimum of half an hour (which was how long I stayed) excavating this hollow. They were there when I arrived, and still there when I left. The female gang-gang spent the majority of her time in the hollow, occasionally coming up for air, when the male would quickly disappear down the hollow - he didn't stay as long as his mate. At times both were in the hollow. They spent a short time grooming each other, before diving back down. Seven males were in the same, or nearby, trees. Sadly, after the gang-gangs do the work, this hollow is regularly used by possums
