hindwing orange, these moths were very wary and hard to approach in the hot weather

I think this moth is Mixochroa sp. ANIC1. M. gratiosata has a distinct white line across the wing, not dots like above. Also the BOLD (Hobern) specimens are all from Tasmania, likewise iNat. Mixochroa sp. ANIC1 has the row of dots and the BOLD (Hobern) specimens are from around Canberra. https://bold-au.hobern.net/taxon.php?taxid=363280

These comments are relevant to the 3 specimens of 'M. gratiosata' from Canberra area already on NM.

Also previusly recordehere but misidentified. M gratiosata apparently confined to Tasmania.
