User's notes

A pair of YTBs glided in to the tree above me, heralded by SCCs squawking loudly. A pair of gang-gangs feeding in a nearby tree joined the SCCs' alarm calls. I watched, open-mouthed, as, within minutes, gang-gangs materialised from everywhere, every direction - from the suburbs, from other parts of the reserve, and from further away. They came in as pairs, threes, fours - I gave up counting after 12 - and still, they kept appearing. I estimate at least 20 gang-gangs arrived to challenge the existence of the YTBs. Unperturbed, the YTBs drank, and dad fed the youngster in a tree away from the raucous gang-gang gang. They then flew directly into the midst of the gang-gangs, settled briefly, before slowly, gracefully, sailing off up the hill. Sound recording on sighting 4721154
