No laughing matter! That's probably the end of Tyrell's hollow as a potential nest site for Stevie and partner. They've done all the work, all the excavation, and in drops predator/tenant - a pair of laughing kookaburras. Stevie and partner were there, growling, protecting (final two photos), and two more gang-gangs (young) came in to assist - but the kookaburra chased them all away. Three hours later, and the next day, the pair of kookaburra were still at the hollow :( @MichaelMulvaney
