User's notes

As part of the gang gang blitz weekend, I was out and about relatively early. I saw a pair of gang gangs inspect a (secondary) tree hollow (will post in another sighting). The male of the pair had a marked scar on the left side of his head, near his maxilla. The pair flew to Larissa hollow(!) I heard a kerfuffle, and angry growling. The female gang gang was growling at a pair of ducks, one of which I presumed had emerged from the hollow. Late that afternoon, I was in the same area for the same reason (blitz). The same pair was at the hollow, chewing, and the female was looking into and growling at the hollow. After noticing the duck and gang gang interest, I've been monitoring the hollow since then, and two days ago found a broken duck egg at the base of the tree. Fingers crossed a bird turfed the egg, not a possum . . .
