Important image of young birds of known age - to help in work to use physical features for more accurate aging of birds
User's notes
I was very excited to see Stevie and her family just above me, amongst a minimum of 22 gang gangs. Stevie and her partner allofed each other, which intrigued me - I actually couldn't work out who was feeding whom . . . Then the whole family busily groomed themselves and each other, with mum and daughter allogrooming. My calculation is that the young bird is now around six months old.
