In grassy woodland; Phalaris spreading at drainage line; some cut, regrowth sprayed and mapped with Field Maps Treated Weeds; Phalaris aquatica is one of the exotic ground-cover species of lower slopes with deep soil that greatly benefits from not being grazed. This aggressive species takes over and out-competes what ever is left of native grasses.
