wild alpine pastures, not sure cattle are wild though. Why are they here in such a sensitive area? Tagged cattle present in vicinity Oct 24. They are using Naas Creek and making quite a mess. There is enough grazing pressure from kangaroos. The hakea here is crucial habitat to a recently described butterfly species specializing in alpine habitat.
