In grassy woodland around drainage line / dam close to the Friends of Mt Majura's Project site; cut and dabbed and fruits collected in bags; mapped with Field Maps Treated Weeds; treatment at the 19th January 2025 working party run by Friends of Mt Majura - this was the third follow-up control carried out by volunteersin this area. As long as massive infestations on public land abutting nature reserve - for instance https://canberra.naturemapr.org/sightings/4640632 - are not treated, new invasion occurs and require annual or biannual control. The same applies for the new nature reserve / offset in Kenny. In the Kenny case it is the taxpayer who pays Offset rangers to continuously remove new infestations whereas in the Mt Majura nature reserve, the volunteers remove new recruits year after year after year ....
