If you pull a leaf blade back towards yourself you can feel the "serrates" on the leaf blade.

Both serrated tussock and Austrostipa scabra have leaves that feel "serrated". This is quite a green, floppy tussock which is more typical of serrated tussock, although the two species can appear identical.
