Hi Ian, in terms of a species determination, I had another such visit the other night. Is there any possibility of improved images leading to a tighter determination? In other words: Would taking greater efforts be worthwhile?
Yes, I think so. Many Tortricidae are challenging to identify. Subtle colours and markings, many species looking quite similar. I would welcome a series on this moth. Dorsal views (from above) and side views are both helpful. Sometimes small crests are only visible from the side.
