Just a guess at the ID!! Cultural burn was happening and the skink moved away safely in the cool burn. Sorry, only one from afar type photo and a screenshot from the zoom in

Hard to be certain from this photo, with those flecks on the back and dark dorsolateral zones, i would suggest it is more likely a Lampropholis ssp. probably guichenoti. Will wait and see what Wil and John think too.

I agree with Brian - difficult to discern the pattern but most likely Lampropholis guichenoti. I would support that identification.
