Could you ask Margaret how sure she was on this one? E.plana seems an unlikely ID to me given that the culms appear terete rather than flattened. If it is indeed E.plana then a herbarium specimen should be collected given the rarity of this taxa in the ACT

Ok Ciaran. Hi @brunonia can you answer Ciaran's question? This is from the dam at Little Mulligans, and given ID in the FOG newsletter.

I was also intrigued by this sighting: E. plana has more of an inland distribution, and Mullkigsns would be towards its eastern range.

Hi Ciaran and Jane. Thanks for your diligence. I've had discussions with Margaret and there is now uncertainty about the E. plana ID. I'll change it to E. sp. for the moment.
