Based on the faint indication of an anterior white edge to the ear opening I am inclined to go with tympanum. Keen to hear Will's views. Pity it didn't turn its head a little to the left!

Yes agreed John - tympanum. And the habitat looks right as well. Small upland open seepage area or creekline.
