User's notes

Baldy was sitting at the entrance to a hollow high in a dead branch of a tree. I stayed for about 30 minutes and he went in and re-emerged once. When I returned about 90 minutes later a female was sitting in the same place. Her crest wasn't visible, but I assume this was Mrs Baldy. Neither made any sound while I watched. This is the same area where I have seen them on two previous occasions, 2 August and 1 October.

Female was found sitting on a branch next to the hollow this morning (about 10.30, 4 Nov). She went inside and Baldy emerged and flew off shortly after. Location corrected.
