Not the best photo, but I didn't want to upset it by asking it to pose for a better shot. Next to the (unnamed?) creek from Gudgenby Saddle to Naas Creek.

I can see the snake but what makes you think it is a Copperhead, apart from the locality? Did you see anything else that would help id it?

Mainly locality, colour, and what I was expecting to see, but also a bit of a cream visible along the belly.
