Significant sighting

Tapirlord noted:

18 Aug 2023

This is a nationally widespread and often quite common species that occupies a range of habitat from tall coastal forest to sandstone escarpments. In the ACT we are at it's western limit and hence it known only from 2 hilltops. While this is one of those two, it is still the first time this species has been checked up on in the last 10 years and therefore an important record. Ned and I are pleased to inform that the stand has done well post-fire and lots of young trees are emerging.

User's notes

Known population. Many young trees coming up post fire.

There is also an isolated outlier clump in the Burra NR that can be seen from the Burra Rd and an easy walk in!
