Possibly associated with Patterson's Curse

Nice photo, Con. Can you confirm this moth was photographed on Paterson's Curse (Echium plantagineum) and not another plant in the family Boraginaceae? The moth Dialectica scalariella was deliberately introduced to Australia by CSIRO as a biological control agent for Paterson's Curse. (after objections from beekeepers). The similar D. aemula is native and not a control agent for Paterson's Curse. However, This looks like D. scalariella, but that is difficult to justify because D. aemula is very similar looking.

Yes, on Paterson's Curse. I had noticed shot holes in the leaves of some of the Patterson's Curse in DSW and had started to turn the leaves over to try to pick up what was underneath. We are trying this year to ensure that no Paterson's Curse flowers and seeds. This plant and all the plants in the vicinity have already been sprayed.
