Paropsis augusta and the yellow form of Paropsisterna cloelia look superficially similar in images. Here are some differences: Paropsisterna cloelia (yellow variant): small (ca 10mm); pronotum and elytra a shiny, semi-transparent golden-yellow, without obvious pits; sides of elytra vertical; present in Canberra P. augusta: size much larger (ca 20mm); pronotum and elytra an opaque orange-yellow, elytra with numerous small pits; sides of elytra turned out; not present in Canberra, occurs in mountain areas e.g. Brindabellas, Snowy Mountains
