I've been away quite4 abit the last few months but since I returned a week ago the female Koel has moved in and the male and female are constantly heard nearby. My first chance to photograph the female. The Wattlebirds have a pair of young fledgelings (see separate report) and I presume the Koels are waiting for a second breeding of the Wattlebirds.
