User's notes
One of two such stalked fungi found within an area of around 2 square metres, with sandy soil and a covering of dirt and leaf litter. The pupal casing was initially found and then a search of the area located the two fungi, both 0.5 m away from the casing and hard to find due to their colour. The fourth image shows the general area. The second fungus is covered in following sighting 4439691. Thanks to Barbara for the initial sighting.
