Hi Darren, thanks for submitting the photo. I have a question about your identification of it as an Aprasia. What made you think this was an Aprasia parapulchella? There is not much to go on in this one photo. I guess it could also be a hatchling Delma inornata. The snout appears to be more pointed like a Delma but that feature may in fact be something in the background near the snout making it look pointy. There are other records of Aprasia from very near this record in the same paddock so the location is suitable for Aprasia. Do you have another photo showing body and/or tail?
Hey Will Sorry. Best image I have. Certainly an Ap. Classic habitat, though a bit Wooded, it held onto the ant burrow with the spike on its tail, tail length quite short esp. Compared to a Di beautiful long tail. I hadn't seen the on that hill before though. I must be getting good as search effort was1 rock!
