This moth looks very similar to a suggested possible but unidentified Furcatrox species photographed on Plate 4/4 entitled 'Furcatrox species' supplied accompanying part 5 of ''Moths of Victoria'. This moth shows the same line of fine white dots running parallel with the forewing hindmargin on a uniformly dark moth showing the saclloped wavy hindwing and forewing margins of several Furcatrox species.
