User's notes

Litoria caerulia. Green tree frog found in Carwoola. I suspect it arrived here with equipment brought from Bega/Tathra /Bermagui region 3 weeks ago. They are only just possible here according to the advertised range but similarly also only just possible at the(far) South Coast. Grateful for advice. Should I release it back into my farm dams or try to get it back to the south coast or..? Tim 0416 073 020

Thank you but where does that leave me and the frog?

Hopefully Anke Maria can provide some advice around that.

Hi Tim If you are using an Apple smartphone we provide the following advice when reporting a sighting....Apple iOS prevents GPS and date information from being uploaded with your images for privacy reasons. So best to download the NatureMapr App & Upload that way. See the following section on the front page: "It's easy to contribute".

yikes

just got to this case

please do not release the frog, and do not release it anywhere at the coast unless you know exactly where it came from.
Maybe you could hand it over to the wildlife carers?? let me know if you still need contacts etc. I can help

Thanks AM,
Too late sorry. It disappeared back in Feb. I'm afraid I couldn't work the Natr maper site and wasn't entirely sure it wasn't local. Being a very frog friendly year I thought this might be just possible. So I let it go exactly where I found it. Chytrid not withstanding! I have been listening for the call since but have not heard it.

I have recently got my iphone repaired and can now send photos effectively. Previously it bared sending to anything other than another iphone. (or something) I will try to have another go at Nature Maper. I am a reasonably proficient naturalist (but an unproficient computer user!) and would be keen to share observations on my conservation property here in Carwoola. This comprises 100 acres and I have managed it entirely for wildlife and endemic vegetation communities for the last 20 years. So from time to time interesting things do crop up. Regards Tim Booth
