I have suggested C. heliacara because the main forewing main lines are a realtively broad white line leading a narrower chestnut coloured one separated by a fine darker line; whereas in C. euphleta the forewing main lines are composed of a narrower off-white coloured line leading a broader white line with the fine darker line separating the two. See C. heliacara sighting No 3383098 and Sighting No. 4380386 for C. euphleta.

True, but the forewing lines of C. helicaria seem more scalloped than in this specimen and in C. euphleta, particularly the 2nd line from the base.

Yes, I agree, and i think there are other examples like this on CNEm I think, ones which we have previously identified ast C. helacaria.

@AaronClausen : I added Chrysolarentia euclidiata as a New Species, and NM has put it in Shrubs !! How do I delete that or put it where it belongs ?

Thanks to AaronClausen and michaelb for fixing the 'shrub' problem so promptly at my request. It seems there is still a bug that sometimes misdirects new species to 'shrubs'.
