User's notes

The gang gang then dropped the leaf it was feeding from and I have included a close up of the caterpillars/larvae.

Thanks Tammy the male Gang-gang was eating perigine sawfly larvae. Sawflies make up about half a percent of all Gang-gang feeding observations. Did you happen to see the head of the Gang-gang was it missing most of its crest?

Thanks Michael. No this gang gang has all his crest. Not baldy.

Thanks Tammy Baldy's two boys are still in their nest so very keen to see how far he is going to forage for them and what it is they are being fed. I was imaging that sawflies would be high protein.

I've put a notice on the Wybalena Grove community noticeboard to upload any photos/records of baldy to the Canberra Nature Map site because a few people here have seen him. So hopefully some records will come in.
