The upper cocoon in the main image was collected on 21 Nov, and the smaller beetle hatched from it on 18 Dec. The lower one was collected on 23 Nov and the larger beetle hatched from it on 20 Dec. One beetle was slightly smaller and the other slightly larger than 5 mm. Perhaps a male and a female?
