Thank you for the photo. This skink is one of two possible species: Pseudemoia pagenstecheri and Acritoscincus duperreyi. Do you have any other photos that would help us identify it to species - we particularly need a view of the head from above so that the head shields can be checked. Thanks.
From what I can see in these images, the frontoparietal seems divided but I agree, seeing as you had it in your hand, it would have been a great help to see the top of the head. These little blighters are hard enough to id at the best of times!
