Spotted what I believe to be a funnel web spider (perhaps Atrax yorkmainorum?) while descending from Mt Gingera summit. It was wandering across the single track. It seems odd being located in an alpine environment.

I think this one is potentially Hadronyche genus actually. I'll look more closely when I get a chance.

Confirming that this one is Hadronyche. Male. Won't be able to go to species unfortunately.
They're more common at this altitude than Atrax.
