User's notes
When I arrived at the site of the previous day's activity (sighting 4403895), the male was sitting at the entrance to the hollow and calling softly. I heard answering calls and located the female in a large tree across the track. After a while he entered the hollow and started making scraping noises and she flew to the entrance. The last photo shows the stump, with the hollow towards the top.
