I'm almost sure this is bicolor, but final confirmation requires a look at the labellum - cycnocephala also grows in this area.

Lou if by any chance you are again in this area and find this specimen again please take a close up from the front which would show the labellum. Maybe it is a bit early; I noticed that most flower buds are still closed...

Lou, could you please provide me with a link to the other post? unfortunately, although I'm the moderator for Mt Majura nature reserve Map I do not longer get the records because there is a problem with Canberra Nature Map , the records land all in "Places" such as Hackett, Downer, Watson (suburbs), Majura, Canberra Central, (districts) overwriting "Maps" such as Mt Majura nature reserve.
