Well done Brian. That is a very high elevation record. Down in the Snowies you get them up to the lower level of the winter snowline (about 1500m). For a given elevation it is warmer on average with less snow in the ACT than at Kosciuszko - that might explain this high record. Substrate temperature important for so-called "thigmotherms" like this species.
