User's notes

Flushed from leaf litter under large eucalyptus in woodland. Audible whirr of wings, medium button quail. Rich chestnut plumage noted from side view plus contrasting markings. Numerous characteristic platelets from foraging in leaf litter on ground where it flushed( see photos)
