Definitely not a long eared bat, looks like a False pipistrelle. Difficult to distinguish from the smaller forest bats (Vespadelus) without measurements, but ear shape and length, and robust muzzle look good for Falsistrellus

It's a regular resident in a small cabin we use, not always easy to get a clear image.

Maybe about 60+mm long I'm guessing, the rafter its resting on is I think an old ~100mm x 50mm one and the nail sticking out in front of it ~30mm. I'll try for more accurate measurements next week.
