I think sightings 4375964 and 4375956 (this one) are the same species, whereas sighting 4375969 is another species with a different dot pattern.

There is a reasonable case I think for suggesting this moth may fit the criteria for A. demista as outlined by Moths of Victoria on their supporting page for the species 2/2, (Part 5). These criteria are: 1. Plain grey-brown wing colour; 2. discal spot usually large and round, but varies.; 3. distinct, fine, scalloped line on the forewing outer margin; 4. wingtip pointed , generally more pronounced in the female; 5. outer margin of forewing slightly angled in the centre. Of these, I think the criterion 3, above is the weakest expressed here because the 'scalloped line' is arguably not as continuous and clear as it is in the published example - but that might be due to wear. The case for A. demista is probably less strong for sighting No 7375964, but is still arguable I think.
