User's notes

I'm having difficulty understanding the use of both Cyclosa fuliginata and Araneus hamiltoni on CNM. Can one of the moderators please explain what principles are being used, and indeed if they are being considered as separate species, given the apparent confusion in the taxonomy at present.

Good question Harvey - I don't have a good answer. Basically I think I have been influenced by the guide I am using at a particular time, Atlas of Living Australia is no help have both names for what appear to be the same species (as we currently do). I am inclined to lump all records together under Araneus hamiltoni - Yumi and Bron what do you reckon?
